Dr. Stefan Pasternack is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.  He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1965 and completed his internship at UCLA Affiliated Hospitals in 1966 and his psychiatry residency at the University of Cincinnati  Medical Center in 1969. He served as Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland from 1969-1971 and was additionally responsible for the training of military psychiatry residents.
