Total Vaccinated as of 6/2 – 124,992 (105,048 Series Complete)

Our % positivity rate has been 4.19% for the past 2 weeks (5/19-6/1). The percent positivity has decreased from Week 20 (5.43%) to Week 21 (3.75%). So far for Week 22 (5/30-6/5), we have decreased to a 3.36% positivity rate. These results include positive antigen and PCR results and exclude persons who have previously tested positive. These data are pulled from the daily county report posted to the FL COVID-19 Dashboard.

 

Our 7-day rolling average for new cases has averaged ~28 per day for the past 2 weeks (5/19-6/1). The average number of cases per day has decreased from Week 20 (35/day) to Week 21 (22/day). So far in Week 22 (5/30-6/5) the average number of cases has decreased to 7/day.

For the past 2 weeks (5/19-6/1) we have seen most of our Leon cases (Florida resident cases only as of 6/2) in the 1-4-year-old and 25-34-year-old age ranges.

Over the past 2 weeks (5/19-6/1), our 7-day rolling average for testing averaged 607 tests per day. We are working to achieve our monthly goal of testing 7.01% of the Leon County population for June, at 0.09% as of 6/2. Our average number of tests per day for Week 22 (5/30-6/5) so far has decreased from last week. Data are pulled from the daily county report posted to the FL COVID-19 Dashboard and include antigen and PCR results and exclude persons who have tested positive.

The PCR lab result wait time has remained the same for the past month ~1.5 days for Week 21 (5/23-5/29).

Our influenza-like illness percent of emergency department visits for Week 21 (5/23-5/29) in 2021 is higher than it has been the previous 5 years. Likewise, it has increased slightly from last week.
